Spiced Apple and Plum Cabbage - Bakemas Day 13

You will need
1 red onion
1 medium red cabbage
1 granny smith
2 plums
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp mixed spice
4 tbsp red wine vinegar

Heat a little oil in a large pan with a lid or casserole dish and add the diced onion. Once the onions have started to soften add in the sliced cabbage. Grate or slice the apple and cut the plums into chunks. Once the cabbage has begun to soften add in the apple, plums, cinnamon stick, mixed spice and vinegar, season well, stir everything together then cover and leave to simmer on a low heat for about 2 hours stirring occasionally. Once the cabbage is nice and tender serve in a bowl topped with the cinnamon stick.
