Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Stuffed Dates - Bakemas Day 23

You will need
12 medjool dates
12 heaped tsp peanut butter
about 80g 70% dark chocolate
Nuts, chocolate etc for decorating (optional)

Slice the dates lengthwise to the centre and remove the pits. Stuff each date with a heaped teaspoon of peanut butter.
Melt the chocolate and dip each date covering completely then set on a baking tray lined with grease proof paper. Top with nuts, seeds, chocolate flakes or drizzle if desired then refrigerate for 30 minutes or until the chocolate has set.
Store in an air tight container in the fridge.

Note: if you’re using raw or a runnier peanut butter you may need to pop the stuffed dates in the freezer for about 10-20 minutes before dipping in chocolate.
