White Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino
I have been obsessed with reading for the last two weeks, in true extremist style; literally eat, drink, sleep, read. It's been pretty hot in England the past few weeks so I've been sitting in the garden under our enormous parasol that makes everyone look slightly sunburnt, frappé in one hand book in the other. This is the what I've been making, I am pretty obsessed with my own blended coffee and it was only until my friend brought me a white mocha cookie crumble that I was determined to adapt my recipe to make one. If I could live off of these I would.
This is one of those recipes where I don't really have exact measurements for it, I know roughly how much I need of everything how big of a splash of milk to put in etc. this is pretty close though. Also, it might be worth a mention that you might want to add more condensed milk if you like it sweeter or some extra coffee for a bit more of a kick.

Chocolate Mini egg Nest Cupcakes with Mocha icing
These are an all time favourite in our household, every year for Easter we make some form of chocolate cake with mini eggs on and when I'm feeling fancy, which isn't often, I'm more of a rustic "I'm in it for the cake" kind of baker, I make them look like nests. March rolls round and my mum starts buying bags of mini eggs which usually end up getting eaten and every time they get replaced until she eventually buys a family bag which you know are strictly off limits for consumption before they're placed on a cake.

You literally can't go wrong with these, chocolate cake and mini eggs what's not to like, and I have a new found love for mocha icing. I made some mocha icing while a friend was over and she made me take the bowl away from her because she was ready to eat it by the spoonful...there was actually cake to go with the icing I didn't just make icing to eat, although no judgement if you do that I'm sure I have some eating habits that could rival that.

Peppermint mocha cupcakes
We all know that on pretty much everyones resolution list is a variation of; lose weight, eat healthy, workout 5000 times a week. In all honesty I think people should start there diets on the 7th, for me the 6th is the day christmas is finally over, the day you have to put down your tree (alternatively know as killing christmas) and your house goes from looking like a joyous wondrous magical place to a dull lifeless vessel...maybe a slight exaggeration but I'm sure anyone who loves christmas will agree if at least for the first few days, until you adjust to the lack of warm glow from the tree and the absence of red coloured object scattered around. And my mugs, oh my! my christmas mugs have to go back on there lonely top shelf for the next 9 months; i say this hypothetically as although my christmas mugs do reside on the top shelf I still use the this-isn't-obviously-christmasy-and-could-potentially-just-look-like-a-wintery-mug mugs for as long as possible.
I know starting on the 7th sort of contradicts the whole, new year, new start, new me kind of attitude that almost everyone billows into the new year proclaiming with there gym membership, trainers and bag of veggies in hand, but why start if christmas isn't over? and let me re-iterate that christmas is not over until the 6th. So why don't we curl up on the sofa, get in the last few hours of staring at the christmas tree and enjoy a peppermint mocha cupcake.

Mocha Snowy delight cookies
This Christmas Cadbury's brought out a limited addition bar called Snowy delight. It's a christmas bar with vanilla flavour filling and oh my is it yummy. The filling tastes like vanillary white chocolate goodness and I am a sucker for milk and white chocolate together. This chocolate tastes uh-mazing with coffee, so I thought why not put it in a cookie.

S'mores Mocha
It's finally got cold in england, a little late in the year if you ask me, I am more than happy to walk around with a chill in the air. I know, you probably think I'm crazy, and I might possibly still be complaining it's not quite cold enough? I can already hear peoples disagreements and shunning, but what's best to go with cold weather than hot chocolate or coffee? Better yet, S'mores, hot chocolate or coffee! Well I have all 3 for you!
I must say, I'm really fussy about hot chocolate, I have a strange relationship with milk and all things creamy. I used to be obsessed with mochas it was my signature coffee that my friend, let's bare in mind she was pretty lazy back then, walked all the way from school to mine, in the opposite direction to her house, so she could have one. I kind of went off them a few years ago but they're making a come back.
