Mince Crumble Baked Apples - Bakemas Day 7

You will need
25g/1oz margarine
110g/4oz ground almonds
1 tbsp muscavado/coconut sugar
2 tbsp flaked almonds
3 granny smith apples
6 heaped tsp mincemeat

Preheat the oven to 180C/355F/Gas mark 4
Place the margarine and ground almonds in a bowl and rub together with your fingers until you create a crumble like consistency. Stir in the sugar and flaked almond then set aside.
Slice the apples in half lengthwise and dig out the core, if you have a melon baller this makes things a little easier but if not a knife and spoon will work.
Place the apple halves in an oven safe dish, put a heaped teaspoon of mincemeat in the center then top with the crumble mixture.
Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes or until the apples are soft all the way through. If the crumble starts to brown a little too quick you can cover with foil half way through.
