White Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino
I have been obsessed with reading for the last two weeks, in true extremist style; literally eat, drink, sleep, read. It's been pretty hot in England the past few weeks so I've been sitting in the garden under our enormous parasol that makes everyone look slightly sunburnt, frappé in one hand book in the other. This is the what I've been making, I am pretty obsessed with my own blended coffee and it was only until my friend brought me a white mocha cookie crumble that I was determined to adapt my recipe to make one. If I could live off of these I would.
This is one of those recipes where I don't really have exact measurements for it, I know roughly how much I need of everything how big of a splash of milk to put in etc. this is pretty close though. Also, it might be worth a mention that you might want to add more condensed milk if you like it sweeter or some extra coffee for a bit more of a kick.
2 tsp instant coffee
4 tsp condensed milk, heaped
2 scoops of ice cream
100ml/6 1/2 tbsp of milk
2-4 squares of chocolate (depending of size)
8-10 large ice cubes
Dissolve the coffee in a small amount of hot water, add the condensed milk to the coffee and mix. After the condensed milk has dissolved add an ice cube to cool and set aside.
Put the milk and ice cream in the blender, chop the chocolate chocolate into small chunks and add to the blender with the coffee and condensed milk.
Blend until the chocolate in broken up into pieces small enough for a straw. Add the rest of the ice and blend until smooth and slushie-like.
Happy caffeine kicking!
